Saturday was our first open day.  We had lots of friends and family come and take a look inside the heart of core trade skills. We meet with 3 lovely new families. 

We are very pleased with our dry stone walling area.  There's so much maths and science that can be talked about, and put into practice when creating a dry stone wall.

OPEN DAY. We would like to invite everyone who is interested in learning about Core Trade Skills. Families, mums, dads, grandparents, schools, people in the trade.  Getting everyone talking about how important this type training is for our children.

We had a great first day with our student. Foundations were laid ready for the next session.

Core trade Skills might not be a school, but we following the guidelines for Keeping Children Safe In Education.  We are all up to date  with the new changes for sept 2026.

The plumbing bay is now kitted out with toilets and basin units ready. We had a delivery of beautiful wood working tools. The vice branch is having the vices attached ready for our learners.
